CRCC President's Message for 2025
Greetings Camaro enthusiasts!

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the President of the Columbia River Camaro Club for 2025 as we begin a new year of excitement and camaraderie.

Reflecting on 2024

Though Chevrolet has once again made the tough decision to discontinue our beloved Camaro, we, the Camaro enthusiasts, will continue to carry the torch and keep the Camaro name alive. The past year was a remarkable rebound for our club, thanks to the dedication and hard work of all our members. We navigated through the challenges of previous years, reconnected with familiar faces, and welcomed new enthusiasts into our community. Our events, including two fantastic car shows, scenic drives through the Pacific Northwest, and fun social gatherings, truly captured the essence of what makes this club so special: a shared passion for Camaros and a deep sense of camaraderie.

Exciting Events in 2025

Looking ahead to 2025, the Columbia River Camaro Club is gearing up for another thrilling year of events to celebrate our love for Chevrolet Camaros. Here are a few exciting highlights:

Angels on Wheels Toy Drive (December 13th): Together, we can make a difference this holiday season by contributing to the toy drive for Randal’s Children’s Hospital in Portland. Let’s give back to the community and spread some holiday cheer!

CRCC's Legacy and Community Involvement

Since our founding in 1983, the Columbia River Camaro Club has remained dedicated to supporting our local community through charitable efforts, particularly through fundraising events like our car shows. We hope that this year’s Planters Days car show enjoys better weather
so we can continue our tradition of community engagement. Our involvement with the Multnomah Hot Rod Council and participation in events such as the Portland Roadster Show and our annual toy drive showcase our commitment not only to the car enthusiast community but also to the broader community we call home.

Beyond Car Shows

The CRCC is much more than a car show club. We are a vibrant, social community that embraces a diverse range of activities, from game nights and mini-golf events to scenic tours of the Pacific Northwest. While our shared love for Camaros brings us together, it’s the friendships and connections we form that truly define us.

We invite you to join us at our monthly meetings held on the first Tuesday of each month at Elmer’s off I-205 on Sandy Boulevard. Whether you are a seasoned member or a new face, we pride ourselves on being a laid-back, no-pressure group. Feel free to reach out via our website or Facebook page if you have any questions or simply want to connect. As we kick off this exciting year, I look forward to meeting new faces, seeing incredible Camaros, and fostering the welcoming spirit that makes the Columbia River Camaro Club such a unique and vibrant community.

Sincerely,
Bryan Fakler
